Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic testing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building robust automation testing frameworks, developing reusable test scripts, and ensuring high-quality software delivery through close collaboration with Business Analysts and Development teams. You will also contribute to test reporting, defect tracking, and support continuous improvement of testing processes. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced Agile environment, with occasional international travel as needed.

 

Must Haves:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java

• Over 2 years of experience in API automation testing

• Experience with RestAssured is a plus

Role Overview:

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks

• Design and implement automation scripts, emphasizing data management and reusability

• Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather and understand requirements

• Produce test execution reports or dashboards

• Investigate and report defects, ensuring effective communication with Business Analysts and Development teams

• Occasional international travel may be required

Required Skills and Experience:

• Over 7 years of experience in automation testing

• At least 4 years working with Selenium WebDriver using Java

• Solid background in Java programming

• 3+ years automating tests through UI and API interfaces

• Familiarity with tools like BrowserStack, Postman, and JMeter is a plus

• Insurance industry experience is advantageous

• Experience with database queries is preferred

• Agile methodology experience is highly valued

Key Skills:

• Understanding of Agile/DevOps project delivery

• Strong skills in designing automated test solutions

• Proficiency with JIRA

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to interpret and work with complex business requirements

• Comfortable working across culturally diverse teams in Asia
