The transformation team supports strategic change across lines of business and functions, acting as a central partner to deliver large-scale initiatives. The role focuses on managing projects end-to-end, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time and within budget—whether as standalone projects or as part of broader programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Innovation & Idea Management

Propose, test, and refine innovative ideas with stakeholders

Identify more efficient ways of working within the project

Keep updated on industry trends and integrate relevant innovations
Commercial Acumen

Shape project direction aligned with group strategy and priorities

Spot business development opportunities within internal teams

Understand and navigate group-wide dependencies and priorities

Quantify and communicate investment opportunities

Use domain knowledge to challenge assumptions and influence decisions
Project Governance & Planning

Design business models, operating models, and business cases
-
Lead the change initiative and strategic decision-making process

Manage project governance, including sponsorship and steering committees

Track progress on scope, budget, timelines, risks, dependencies, and benefits
-
Communicate project updates clearly and consistently to senior stakeholders
-
Navigate obstacles, adapt to changes, and drive resolution of issues
Design and Business Analysis

Apply structured frameworks for problem-solving, including operating and process models
-
Analyze current state, define future state, and gain stakeholder alignment
-
Gather, refine, and validate requirements—including conflicting requirements
-
Lead financial modeling for business cases and cost-benefit analysis
-
Design, execute, and document testing plans to validate outcomes
-
Plan and execute deployment activities, including readiness checks and post-launch assessments
Delivery Excellence

Deliver consistently with speed and quality

Prioritize tasks to align with project goals

Identify bottlenecks early and propose practical solutions
-
Streamline delivery and enhance efficiency through simplification

Sustain delivery momentum and maintain team morale
Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 8 years' experience managing change across strategy, design, and implementation

Prior experience in large, complex organizations, preferably in banking or financial services

Proven ability to independently engage and influence senior stakeholders

Solid understanding of business operations, system transformation, and organization design (including M&A)

Strong analytical skills, proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
-
Track record of delivering full project lifecycles—from initiation to closure
-
Familiarity with consulting methods, Agile, and Waterfall frameworks
-
Deep understanding of the link between transformation and value delivery
-
Skilled in people management and leading multi-functional teams
-
Expertise in implementation, change management, and benefit realization
-
Language proficiency in Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus
-
Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, MSP, CBAP, or CSM are advantageous
