Senior Frontend Developer (React Native)

As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and supporting consumer-facing applications. This includes ensuring seamless data collection (e.g., receipts), delivering new features, and contributing to strategic projects. You will collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Engineering Leads, and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve and evolve the product.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of mobile applications with a focus on best practices, scalability, and performance

• Implement and enforce testing and quality assurance standards to ensure robust application delivery

• Design and build new backend services to enable new features

• Maintain and transition legacy systems to more modern architectures

• Manage Jira tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of project goals

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement product enhancements

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to development team members

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support data delivery to clients

• Maintain up-to-date documentation and contribute to internal training resources

• Review code for quality assurance and maintain clean, maintainable codebases

• Keep current with trends in native app development and bring innovations into the team
  
   

  Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or higher degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including native mobile app development

• Proficiency in mobile technologies such as React Native, iOS, and Android

• Strong backend experience with Node.js

• Experience working in cloud-native environments (e.g., AWS) and scalable architectures

• Familiarity with feature flags, OTA updates, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and trunk-based development

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
