Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager for IT Service and Vendor Management to join our client. This role is critical in providing leadership and operational management of IT services, ensuring that all services are delivered to agreed standards while managing vendor relationships effectively.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management: Provide strategic leadership for IT services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with industry standards.

Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of IT services, ensuring that performance meets agreed-upon metrics and standards.

Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors, assessing performance, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Collaboration: Work closely with Business Stakeholders, Application Teams, and IT vendors to evaluate, recommend, and implement practical and cost-effective IT solutions and infrastructure.

Budget Management: Compile and consolidate the IT budget and expenses, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives and effective resource allocation.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in IT service delivery and vendor performance, driving initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in IT service management and vendor management, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
- Proven track record in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
