VP Finance

Morgan Philips is representing a highly reputable multinational Financial Services company in hiring an VP Finance, based in KL. This is a crucial role in managing and optimizing the financial operations of the firm by supporting the CFO (Managing Director) and working closely with the senior management, external stakeholders, and investment teams.

What you will be covering:

• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, fund performance and returns to management, investors, and regulatory bodies
• provide insightful analysis of financial data to support strategic decision making
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate financial audits and tax filings.
• Manage fund cash flow through capital calls, distributions, and financing activities.
• Assist in the preparation of investor communications, including performance updates, AGM and Advisory Board meetings

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in finance/accounting and audit roles, with a substantial portion in private equity or investment management.
• Strong financial acumen with expertise in accounting, financial markets, investment valuation, and analysis.
• Proven ability to develop financial strategies, manage capital, and assess risk.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
