Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant
Location: Warsaw
Work mode: Hybrid

Resposibilities:

• Full general ledger accounting
• Conducting periodic balance sheet reviews
• Managing month-end and year-end close processes, including variance analysis and reporting
• Collaborating with outsourced providers for VAT compliance
• Assisting the Head of Finance in preparing Financial Statements
• Handling Fixed Assets accounting and GUS reporting
• Verifying purchase invoices and preparing payment proposals
• Managing Vendor Master Data changes and coordinating audit requests
• Ensuring adherence to procedures and internal controls
• Maintaining familiarity with accounting standards like IFRS / PAA GAAP
• Working with SAP and Blackline
• Additionally, you will participate in projects to improve financial processes, ensure tax law compliance, and may lead initiatives.

We are looking for candidates with:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in general ledger accounting or financial reporting
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Excel
• Extensive knowledge of PAA or IFRS, and experience with complex accounting tasks
• Fluency in English, strong attention to detail, and a focus on customer experience
• Continuous improvement experience, and familiarity with SAP ERP FI & CO module preferred
• Knowledge of other European languages such as French is a plus
