For our client, a multinational FMCG company, we are looking for an experienced person to take the position of:
Head of Insights & Forecasting Poland and Baltics
Localization - Warsaw
Duties:
• Responsible for leading and continuously improving the respective Team as change-agent in assigned market to create maximum tangible business value in close collaboration with multiple stakeholders
• Insights & Foresights encompasses providing holistic best-in class performance, market & competitor insights cross category to enable actionable value creation for Marketing , Trade Teams and Senior Management
• Insights & Foresights comprises managing the Business Process, to develop Demand & Market Share forecasts for assigned categories, managing underlying sensitivities and to ensure the standard and ad-hoc reporting to various stakeholder groups
• Identify for the assigned category market opportunities & risks, relevant growth and target segments and contribute to pricing strategies including Business Cases
• Being part of Local Leadership Team, to discuss people agenda, strategic long term plans, and sharing/contributing to multi-function priorities.
• Create strong storylines and recommendations for Senior Management presentations and drive yearly category plans in close collaboration with Line Manager
• Present and drive Insights & Foresights outcomes in various forums in the S&OP Process and ad-hoc meetings
• Contribute to leveraging state of the art IT systems to democratize performance data & insights across CE marketing functions in an efficient manner and to optimize the monthly rhythm and processes.
• Drive various strategic & ad-hoc projects depending on business opportunities and needs
Requirements:
• University degree (Master +) in Marketing , business management and administration and/ or studies focused on data analytics
• +8 years of relevant work experience incl. Team leadership in analytical Marketing roles, ideally within a multinational FMCG company
• Outstanding analytical, conceptual, and strategic skill set
• Effective communication, presentation & storytelling, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Strong business understanding and commercial acumen, high self-initiative, hands-on problem solver
• Ability to derive and present clear, simple, and actionable conclusions from complex and sometimes conflicting data
• Interest and capability to establish new solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency of ways of working, thereby leveraging new technology
• Independent working style, high self-initiative, hands-on problem solver
• High degree of flexibility and resilience, willingness to challenge the status quo
• Excellent MS Office, esp. Excel and Power Point
• Experience in working in BI Systems such as Tableau, PowerBI
• Business fluent in English and local language of assigned market
