It is a chain of Tea beverage brands in mainland China. They have reached many countries out of China now and there are more to come for future international expansion underway.
Requirements:
- Candidate must be with background from Food & Beverage industry or Retail Industry.
- Candidate previous business scope covers APAC areas like Singapore/Philippines/Malaysia/Thai/HK/Taiwan/South Korea/Japan, etc.
- Candidate should be familiar with general management (including but not limited to Sales Marketing, operation, supply chain,finance, HR)
- The ideal Candidate must be good oral speaking in Mandarin, and also good in English.
- The ideal candidate is expected between 32-42 years-old.
Job Title: General Manager, Asia-Pacific Region
Job Summary: As the General Manager of the Asia-Pacific region, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's business strategy in the Asia-Pacific region to achieve the company's long-term growth objectives. You will lead a diverse team, manage a cross-cultural work environment, and work closely with the global team to ensure the achievement of business goals.
Main Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute the business strategy for the Asia-Pacific region to support the company's global objectives.
- Identify and assess new market opportunities and develop entry strategies.
- Collaborate with the global team to ensure regional strategies align with the company's overall strategy.
- Lead the team to achieve sales targets and market share growth.
- Manage key customer relationships and maintain and develop long-term business partnerships.
- Recruit, develop, and manage an efficient team to support business objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to foster innovation and exceptional performance within the team.
- Develop and monitor the annual budget for the Asia-Pacific region.
- Analyze financial statements to ensure the financial health and profitability of the business.
- Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations and company policies.
- Gain a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Develop product and market strategies based on market research.
- Identify and assess business risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure business compliance and ethical standards.
- Manage cross-cultural teams to facilitate communication and collaboration among employees from different cultural backgrounds.
- Act as a representative of the company culture to ensure the dissemination and practice of the company's values in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Bachelor's degree, MBA or a Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
- At least 10 years of management experience, with at least 5 years of business management experience in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Strong strategic planning and execution abilities.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Outstanding cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in English, with knowledge of major languages in the Asia-Pacific region preferred.
- Able to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment with excellent time management and priority-setting skills.
