Job Overview:
This role involves owning, supporting, and improving data capabilities by transforming raw data into actionable insights. The position requires designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and processes to enhance reporting and analytics within a dynamic data infrastructure. Effective communication with non-technical stakeholders across multiple countries and business lines is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end orchestration of the data platform.
• Design and implement robust ETL pipelines and populate reporting-optimized databases using Microsoft Azure.
• Ensure accuracy and stability by monitoring and managing data pipelines.
• Architect, build, and deploy data platforms to provide intuitive analytics.
• Support diverse use cases, including batch analysis, real-time analytics, and data science.
• Develop and apply a data governance framework.
• Collaborate with business teams to assess technical feasibility and deliver tailored solutions.
• Drive user adoption by gathering feedback and refining platform capabilities.
• Optimize data delivery and enhance scalability by re-designing architecture.
• Foster a local data community and promote best practices in data engineering.
• Implement DevOps tools, frameworks, and continuous integration/delivery for data engineering projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience, including expertise in Microsoft Azure implementation.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, ADF, Synapse, and Databricks.
• Experience in DevOps.
• Good to have: Data Governance experience.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
