Major Functions and Responsibilities:

Estimate effort and timelines for application development projects, including conversions and new developments.

Define tester configurations based on customer device requirements and align proposals with sales and marketing teams for customer presentation.

Develop test time estimations for benchmarks and application development projects.
-
Develop, debug, and integrate application programs according to customer test specifications. Take responsibility for application programming as well as ensuring on-time and on-cost delivery.

Define and drive loadboard development with third-party vendors based on customer requirements.
-
Conduct technical training sessions internally and externally, following established training guidelines and procedures.

Provide regular and on-demand updates on the status of ongoing activities (e.g., monthly reports, trip reports, project reports).

Deliver on-site and remote customer support, including production ramp-up support, troubleshooting, and technology/methodology guidance.

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support system sales initiatives.
-
Stay informed on trends relevant to engineering and technology, and implement necessary adaptations in consultation with management.

Undertake special projects as assigned.

Ensure effective collaboration across all internal divisions and departments through teamwork.
-
Cooperate with global application teams to meet defined goals, objectives, and functional responsibilities.
Other Functions:
-
Frequently participate in customer meetings and maintain open communication channels at all levels.

Focus on proper utilization of existing business processes and drive continuous improvement efforts.

Report System Performance Reports (SPRs) upon detecting any issues with tester operating systems.

Create internal application notes and technical papers, and propose content for exhibitions and public events.
Qualification1. Experience & Technical Expertise:
-
Possesses in-depth knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
-
RF Technology
-
Digital
-
Mixed Signal Test and DSP
-
Power Automotive
-
Design for Testability (DFT)
-
-
5–10+ years of experience in the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and/or semiconductor industry.

2. Language Proficiency:
-
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

3. Personal Qualifications:

Strong programming skills with a solid foundation in electronics and electrical engineering.

Creative, communicative, and flexible mindset.

Well-organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn.

Willingness to travel and collaborate across different cultures.

Proven ability to work effectively in international teams.

Fluent in Japanese (both written and spoken).
