Category Manager

We are partnering with a leading global consumer electronics company to recruit a Category Manager who will take ownership of sourcing strategies and supplier management for key electronic components. This role plays a critical part in driving procurement efficiency, supplier performance, and long-term supply chain resilience across global operations. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with global business objectives

• Take ownership of sourcing and procurement for electrical/electronic (EE) components

• Lead supplier selection, price negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives

• Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance to ensure business continuity

• Negotiate contracts and business terms with new and existing suppliers

• Conduct regular market analysis and share insights on supplier roadmaps and industry trends

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing opportunities and risks

• Support long-term component capacity planning and resolve sourcing bottlenecks

• Drive savings initiatives and contribute to overall procurement goals

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in English

• Minimum 5–8 years of sourcing experience with focus on EE components

• Solid understanding of component technologies, market dynamics, and cost structures

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proactive, data-driven, and able to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
