My client is a multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnological company focused on providing advanced diagnostic and preventive services to enhance animal healthcare.

  • Instill the Company's values within Taiwan workforce.
  • Undertake to develop business strategy seeking P&L compliance, focusing specifically on:
  1. Generating sales forecasts for the upcoming month.
  2. Aligning price positioning with input from the Technical & Marketing Manager
  3. Margin of the subsidiary, by products and customers.
  4. Enhance operating result
  • Achieve the sales budget in the subsidiary by proposing initiatives to both increase sales and correct negative deviations from budget. To assign necessary resources, especially to strategic products and services.
  • Elaborate and update a Three-Year Business Plan for the subsidiary on a yearly basis.
  • Implement company policies in the subsidiary.
  • Identify new business opportunities (new products, new business ideas…)
  • Make regular field visits to Key Accounts, relevant customers, dealers and KOL.
  • Proactively, request the necessary resources to achieve the Local Business Plan, participating in the recruitment, integration and learning and development initiatives.
  • Lead, manage and motivate the business team by following up on each individual’s personal and professional goals and achievements.
  • Assessment of all members of the sales team through regular visits field trips (customers, KAs), identifying individual areas for progress and implementing corrective measures.
  • Set challenging targets for the business team, which must show progress versus prior year’s results.
  • Shared accountability with the Finance & Administration Manager on customer credit limits, collections and inventory control.
  • Ensure the adoption and proper implementation of Corporate Marketing Tools/Services (Medical Devices, Origins, Guarantee Contracts, Diagnostic…) as well as IT Tools (CRM, Connections…).
  • Monthly report of the market trends and activity to the RM, specifying areas that require immediate action and suggesting different alternatives to the potential problems.
  • Bachelor's degree with major in Veterinarian, pharmaceutical or relevant field.
  • Languages: Good command of written and spoken English in addition to Mandarin and Taiwanese.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in sales in the Animal Health industry sector, out of those, at least 3 years’ experience in managing a sales team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships and teams
  • Customer oriented and analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
