Director, Head of Product & Test Engineering

We’re seeking an experienced Director of Product & Test Engineering for a leading semiconductor fabless company to be based in Hsinchu Science Park. This is a senior leadership role that requires 20+ years of combined experience at IC/Fabless Design & Wafer Foundry companies, managing multiple teams (ideally 80+ engineers) among different locations.  
 
Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the company’s Product Engineering (PE) and Test Engineering (TE) teams, overseeing the activities of the Engineering function, setting goals, providing guidance, and ensuring its productivity and effectiveness.
• Collaborating with senior leaders /managers of the company to plan and develop the engineering strategies which are aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Lead the team to execute the plans.  
• Work closely with R&D department and foundry partners. Ensure smooth and efficient New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Driving the innovation of product & test engineering by adapting new technologies or methodologies, ensuring they meet market demands and quality standards.

 
Requirements:

• 20+ years of combined working experience in the functions of Process Development, NPI Enablement, Product Engineering, and Test Engineering within the semiconductor industry sectors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of semiconductor ecosystem and solid experience in Process Technology Development, Manufacturing Engineering, and development of manufacturing infrastructure.
• 10+ years in people managerial role, managing multiple Engineering teams (with 80+ engineers or more). Track records of successfully building or managing an effective engineering team.
• Demonstration of Innovation in the workplace.
• Demonstration of Persistency – get the right things done.
• Master’s degree and above. Engineering-related studies.
