-Develop and maintain supplier cost structure profiles, with the capability to model the impact of changes in raw material prices, labor rates, utilities, and production volumes.
-Provide timely, accurate, and insightful analysis of material cost trends versus budget and prior year results.
-Lead and participate in the annual material cost planning and review cycle, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
-Deliver financial support for factory operations and strategic FP&A decisions, including make-vs-buy analysis and multi-sourcing evaluations.
-Analyze and provide costing data for new product introductions, including estimates for new components and parts.
-Proactively communicate and evaluate the financial impact of current and potential product cost changes.
-Collaborate cross-functionally in value-added discussions related to material and component costs, with a focus on controllable cost drivers.
-Participate in monthly operational reviews with factory leadership teams to monitor performance and address variances.
-Support quarterly reviews of slow-moving and obsolete inventory, with particular focus on supplier-held inventory.
-Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and act as a flexible resource to the factory operations FP&A team as needed.
-Contribute to the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and tracking of key performance metrics.
