Head of Demand Planning and Delivery (Semiconductor)

Purpose of the Role

This role ensures the availability of materials to meet customer and production needs, while managing the end-to-end logistics and planning landscape in Taiwan. The successful candidate will lead a team of approximately 30 professionals across planning and delivery functions, owning both the short- and medium-term planning horizons (0–3 years), and managing logistics operations including warehousing, transportation, and service logistics.

The individual will represent Taiwan’s supply chain operations within global forums, champion global standards, and drive alignment with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, and Service.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Operations

• Lead and manage logistics infrastructure at Taiwan two sites, ensuring efficient physical flows for factory and field operations.

• Manage local 3PL relationships and oversee contract negotiations in collaboration with global and regional logistics teams.

• Design and maintain scalable, compliant, and cost-effective transport and warehousing operations aligned with future volume growth.

• Support cross-site harmonization and continuous improvement projects.

• Facilitate logistics readiness for New Product Introductions, ensuring transport and warehousing compatibility.

Supply Chain Planning

• Ensure material availability for Two factories to meet customer demand efficiently, balancing performance, cost, and inventory.

• Manage planning processes from finished goods down to module and component levels, integrating feedback between strategic and tactical planning.

• Own the integrated demand and supply planning process on a tactical horizon (0–3 years), aligning with Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, and Field operations.

• Identify and manage risks and opportunities, and lead cross-functional decision-making for critical supply chain issues.

• Drive resolution of escalations and allocation challenges with a business-first, objective approach.

• Monitor and improve planning quality and forecast accuracy to reduce material shortages and excess.

• Lead senior-level demand and supply reviews, enabling holistic planning decisions.

• Provide thought leadership on planning methodologies, and drive regional implementation for both in-house and externally sourced components.

• Collaborate with capacity planning teams to ensure future readiness of supply capabilities.

• Represent Supply Chain Planning & Delivery in product development processes to ensure supply chain readiness for new technologies.

Qualifications & Experience

• 15+ years of experience in high-tech industries with complex global supply chains.

• Proven expertise in supply chain planning and logistics management.

• Strong background in working with engineering-centric product environments.

• Significant leadership experience with the ability to manage senior internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience in transformation programs and cross-functional change management.

• Semiconductor industry experience preferred.
