Job Overview / Objective
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will support designated functions in Taiwan and contribute to the company’s continued growth. Reporting to the Regional HR Director, this role works closely with global HRBPs, functional leaders, and the broader HR team to align HR initiatives with business priorities and drive organizational success.
Main Responsibilities
- Gain deep understanding of assigned business units and their people to identify organizational needs. Collaborate with leaders to develop and implement actionable plans that close capability gaps, enhance team effectiveness, and boost employee engagement.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on a full range of HR matters, including policies, procedures, and best practices. Ensure timely execution of core HR processes aligned with the business cycle, such as workforce planning, performance management, compensation reviews, organization design, talent development, and succession planning.
- Act as an employee advocate by fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Manage employee relations cases in accordance with internal guidelines and local labor laws. Proactively support the development of compliant and effective HR policies and practices.
- Lead or contribute to HR-related initiatives and ad hoc projects, bringing in subject matter expertise to drive innovation, challenge conventional thinking, and deliver impactful HR solutions. Partner closely with global and regional HR teams—including Talent Acquisition, Rewards, Learning & Development, and HR Operations—to ensure consistent and high-quality outcomes.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in HRBP roles, with at least 5 years in specialized HR functions.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong background in multinational environments, preferably with experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of Taiwan labor laws and employment regulations.
- Proven experience working with senior leadership to deliver strategic HR value.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities and a collaborative approach.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust, drive change, and engage diverse teams in dynamic environments.
- Proficient in HRIS and workforce analytics; able to generate data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Highly accountable with a structured, practical working style.
- Growth mindset and ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Self-starter with the initiative to independently drive improvements and embed HR best practices.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
