Infosec Engineer (Compliance Focused)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Infosec Engineer (Compliance Focused) to join the team. You will be responsible for ensuring the company’s information security systems comply with industry regulations and standards. You will work on cross-functional, multinational projects, helping the organization mitigate security risks and ensure global compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement information security policies and best practices to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate compliance and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure security systems meet compliance requirements.
• Support cross-functional, multinational security projects to meet compliance standards.
• Monitor security incidents and provide solutions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance and training on security compliance and best practices.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity laws and advise on necessary updates.
• Assist with preparing for certifications and audits, including third-party auditor coordination.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security with a compliance focus.
• Experience in cross-national or multinational projects.
• Strong understanding of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOC 2, etc.
• Experience with risk management and security auditing.
• Ability to interpret compliance requirements across jurisdictions.
• Excellent communication skills with global teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with security tools like SIEM, vulnerability management, and encryption systems.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud security and related regulations (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
