Position Overview:
The Field Sales Head or Account Team Leader will oversee business growth in Taiwan, leading the field sales team and implementing a strategic approach to the product portfolio. This role is key in driving B2B sales for enterprise customers with direct reporting to the Sales Head - Enterprise Team and managing a team of 5 to 8 members.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on rapid prospect engagement, high-quality new business acquisition, and efficient deal closures.
- Provide strategic direction to the sales team, ensuring adaptability to market shifts and proactively pursuing new sales opportunities.
- Set motivating, market-aligned sales targets for the field sales team and conduct regular, impactful reviews to drive target achievement.
- Collaborate with the Strategy and Business Excellence teams on sales incentive design to ensure team motivation on a quarterly basis.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the field sales team to master best-selling methodologies, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
- Promote a high-performance environment that emphasizes rapid new sales and client satisfaction.
- Oversee operational KPIs such as visit frequency, funnel conversion, and win rate.
- Instill data-driven performance management, utilizing CRM tools like Salesforce for sales tracking, pipeline management, and streamlining the customer acquisition process.
Revenue Growth
- Drive aggressive sales target achievement, continuously assessing and refining strategies for optimal performance, with a primary focus on new client acquisition.
- Work closely with the team to identify immediate business opportunities for accelerated revenue generation.
New Client Acquisition
- Acquire and cultivate client relationships geared toward quick conversions, delivering exceptional sales pitches and overcoming objections to ensure client satisfaction and contract closures.
- Leverage the dynamics of rapid sales to establish trust and deliver quick results, resulting in high customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics influencing rapid sales.
- Provide insights to guide product development and marketing strategies aimed at swift market penetration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal marketing teams to align lead generation, nurturing, and conversion strategies.
- Contribute to the development of marketing and sales tools by providing valuable inputs to the marketing team.
Candidate Profile:
- 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, SaaS, or digital products for mid to large-sized clients, with a minimum of 4+ years in a sales leadership role.
- Proven track record in leading sales teams to exceed targets through comprehensive execution of business strategies.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a history of securing new business opportunities, including pricing agreements and contract terms.
- Skilled in building mutually beneficial agreements to expand service coverage and enhance customer relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management abilities, enabling effective pitching and successful conversion of new opportunities.
- Experience in managing complex sales funnels and negotiating contracts with multiple stakeholders in large corporate settings.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in data-driven key account development and ability to collaborate closely with product and marketing teams to realize customer needs.
- Experience in CRM tools (Salesforce) for pipeline management and team performance tracking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with effective cross-functional communication abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
