Product Manager - (USB-C)

Our client  is a profitable growth company with excellent future prospects. The company has more than 50 employees in Espoo, Japan, India, China and Taipei, and a highly competent team of outsourced expertise. 

Position: USB-C product manager
Location: Taipei 
 

• Collect market requirements for USB-C testing and translate those to requirements in R&D
• Work closely with Key partners for joint R&D projects to develop new technology
• Manage Product feature roadmap and R&D projects to deliver the required features
• Acting as USB-C technology owner for Unigraf, participating international standardization events (USB forum, VESA etc.) for latest news and representatives.
• Train customers and internal team about latest USB-C technologies
• Interfacing with key customers for USB-C related requests i.e., issues, new features.

 
Skills and experience required:
 

• Excellent USB-C, Power Delivery, and DP alt understanding
• Knowledge of USB2, USB3, or USB4 protocol understanding is a big plus
• Experience in R&D testing and validation
• Experience in working in customer interface with Fortune 500 companies
• Msc. in engineering or equivalent knowledge
• Excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin is a benefit
