• Lead and coordinate production QA activities at contract manufacturers, ensuring adherence to company standards and requirements.
• Proactively identify potential quality risks using tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Process Capability Analysis, and Design of Experiments (DOE), and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with the front-end team to manage field return analysis (failure analysis), ensuring prompt investigation and closure of customer complaints and returned products.
• Drive innovative root cause analysis and develop robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for both production and field quality issues.
• Develop and maintain quality agreements, inspection criteria, and control plans with CMs, continuously refining processes for improved effectiveness.
• Regularly assess and challenge existing quality control practices to identify opportunities for innovation and enhancement.
• Conduct regular onsite visits, audits, and production line validations at CM sites, and proactively share best practices across suppliers.
• Work closely with engineering, supply chain, and regulatory teams to ensure smooth production quality management and support new product introductions (NPIs).
• Track and report key quality performance indicators (KPIs) for each CM; lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at defect prevention, reliability enhancement, and cost reduction.
• Promote a culture of proactive quality management, innovation, and continuous learning within QA and supplier teams.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in production QA, preferably with contract manufacturer or supplier management.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and supplier quality management processes.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing preventive quality strategies using tools such as:
• FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
• Process Capability Studies
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Design of Experiments (DOE)
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation
• Experience in managing field returns/failure analysis and implementing effective corrective/preventive actions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills for managing both external and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to travel to CM sites and support field return processes as needed.
• Familiarity with quality management systems/tools.
