We are seeking an experienced and driven Laboratory R&D team leader to lead this research and development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in qPCR and molecular diagnostics, combined with the leadership skills to manage and motivate a high-performing team.

​Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and optimization of qPCR assays for a range of applications, including molecular diagnostics and research, ensuring high standards of quality and reliability.
  • Oversee and manage R&D projects related to qPCR and molecular diagnostics, ensuring timely completion within budget while maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of reports on product performance, technical challenges, and regulatory compliance, providing clear communication to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, marketing) to drive seamless product development, from concept to launch.
  • Stay informed of advancements in qPCR, NGS, and related technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for all qPCR platform products, including NGS and molecular diagnostic products, maintaining a focus on quality and accuracy.
​Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in life sciences, biological engineering, chemistry, or related fields.
  • Rich research experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related fields, with in-depth understanding and experience in qPCR and NGS technologies.
  • Proven expertise in qPCR and molecular diagnostics, with a track record of successful project management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, able to effectively organize and coordinate team members' work.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience with NGS technologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and requirements for diagnostic products.
