Our client is a diversified FMCG organization with a long-standing history and international operations. As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for formulating and executing short- and long-term sales strategies to meet regional targets while ensuring operational efficiency. This role encompasses leadership in sales, resource allocation, and performance management, supporting both commercial goals and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Design and implement regional sales strategies in alignment with corporate objectives to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Inventory & Market Monitoring: Oversee stock levels, assess regional risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to field sales teams to optimize distribution.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Generate, analyze, and report on sales data to track progress against KPIs, providing regular updates to the National Sales Manager.
- Credit & Receivables Management:
- Evaluate and approve credit limits for distribution partners.
- Develop and enforce strategies for timely collection of trade and claim receivables, minimizing bad debts.
- Profit & Loss Oversight: Monitor sales operational costs and make informed decisions to protect margins and enhance profitability.
- Customer & Partner Relations: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers, outlets, and channel partners through effective negotiation and engagement.
- Monthly Reporting: Compile and review comprehensive monthly reports covering sell-in/sell-out data, service levels, productivity, and market share trends.
- Resource & Budget Management:
- Align manpower planning with strategic and environmental shifts.
- Approve work plans and budget revisions; oversee expenditure and asset management to ensure financial discipline.
- Analyze demand and coordinate product supply accordingly.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Monitor team performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Facilitate onboarding and support employee growth aligned with career paths and skillsets.
- Risk & Compliance: Lead risk mitigation efforts across safety, security, fraud prevention, and incident management.

Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in sales and marketing within the FMCG sector (preferred industries: tobacco, alcohol, beverages).
- Proven leadership in managing regional teams and developing talent.
- Experience working with third-party business partners and vendors.
