We’re seeking an experienced and seasoned communications executive to build and lead our client’s newly established corporate communications team. This is a unique opportunity to build the foundations of this function and play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s evolving brand during a period of rapid growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong leader, and a skilled communicator, with a proven track record of success in driving change within a multinational organization. This position reports directly to the CEO.

Major Responsibilities:
- Continue to structure and build out an integrated communications team to support organization’s internal and external communication needs and branding activities.
- Work closely with investor relations, marketing communications, and other related departments on a more cohesive and strategic communication strategy.
- Establish workstreams to manage various communication channels including the social media channels, external/internal websites, corporate announcements, and more.
- Solidify the scope of the corporate communications team in the context of the growing organization.
- Build the employer brand enhancement initiatives and create a robust corporate branding strategy to increase the company’s brand awareness and maintain brand governance.
- Serve as an advisor to enhance executive communication quality at external industry events and presentations.
- Viewing fellow executives as partners, promote collaboration between Corporate Communications and other company’s organizations.
Requirements:
- Language: Excellent/Native in English and Mandarin
- Seasoned Communications Leader (10+ years): Extensive experience in leading and executing comprehensive corporate communications strategies (internal and external) for a dynamic, diverse, multinational organization experiencing significant growth.
- Global Leadership and Audience Focus: Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams across diverse locations and cultures. A keen ability of how to read the room of a global audience, adapting communication styles and messaging accordingly.
- Transformation Champion: Proven ability to drive transformational change within the communications function, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Experience building and implementing a strong internal consulting model is a plus.
- Brand Management Experience: Experience in spearheading and executing corporate branding initiatives, including enforcing brand governance.
- Executive Presence: Confident communication style, who excels at presenting and facilitating impactful meetings and events.
- Attention to detail: Willing to dive deep into the details to ensure high quality output from the team.
- Relentless Execution: Proven ability to plan and execute on complex initiatives that effect the entire organization.
- Data-driven approach: Strong grasp of communication measurement principles. Experienced in developing and implementing metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and translate data insights into action.
- Education: degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Management and/or MBA in an international top tier university/institute.
