Confidential Search – We’re looking for a Senior Director, Head of Intelligent Manufacturing Division for a leading semiconductor manufacturing company in Taiwan. This is a senior managerial role that requires 15~25 years of working experience in semiconductor industry (ideally wafer foundry), with the track records of successfully implementing the digital/AI technology, CIM, and process automation to improve the production yield and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
· Plan and develop smart manufacturing strategies: Develop long-term strategies and implementation plans for intelligent manufacturing based on market trends and technological developments to improve production efficiency and product quality.
· Technological innovation: Focus on the development of new technologies, such as Digital & artificial intelligence (AI), Automation/Manufacturing Technology, IoT, and CIM (Computer-Integrated Manufacturing). Promote technological innovation to enhance competitiveness.
· Promote automation and digitization: Lead the team to introduce and implement automation technology and digital transformation, ensuring the efficiency of semiconductor production processes while reducing the labor costs.
· Data analysis and management: Establish a data collection and analysis system; use and apply big data technology to optimize production processes and improve efficiency and accuracy for decision-making.
· Cross-departmental collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, and Quality management functional teams to ensure that smart manufacturing solutions meet goals and objectives.
· Budget and Resource Management: Responsible for the budget preparation and resource allocation of the smart manufacturing department to ensure that the project is completed on time and with quality and achieves cost-effectiveness goals.
Requirements:
· 15~25 years of working experience in semiconductor manufacturing industry (ideally wafer foundry or Integrated Design & Manufacturing companies. Familiar with semiconductor manufacturing processes and IE methodologies.
· Minimum 5 dedicated experience and track records of planning and implementing new technologies to enhance the manufacturing efficiency, for example, artificial intelligence (AI), Big Data analysis, Automation, and advanced CIM (Computer-Integrated Manufacturing)
· Management experience: At least 5 years of senior management experience with the management scope >100 members; Ability to lead a cross-functional team/division.
· Proficient in both English & Chinese
· Preferred personal traits: Innovative thinking, problem solving, and adaptability; flexible response and adaptability to new challenges in a rapidly changing environment.
