Overview:
We are supporting a multinational company in the search for a Senior Finance Executive who will play a key role in managing daily accounting operations, ensuring tax compliance, and maintaining strong internal control practices. This role also involves close coordination with regional teams and external service providers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Financial Control & Reporting

  • Maintain a solid understanding of financial reporting structures and general ledger frameworks

  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting accuracy

  • Ensure the integrity of financial statements by reviewing entries and collaborating with regional finance hubs and external partners

  • Approve high-risk payments and monitor procure-to-pay activities handled by third-party providers

  • Drive process improvements and establish workflows to optimize efficiency

  • Serve as a point of contact for regional and group-level financial inquiries

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including transfer pricing

  • Lead internal and external audit processes with minimal supervision

🔹 Cash & Credit Management

  • Manage cash flow forecasting and ensure adequate liquidity for operations

  • Handle daily banking requirements and monitor bank compliance reports

  • Design and oversee a credit control framework, working with commercial teams

  • Conduct annual customer credit assessments and set appropriate credit limits

  • Monitor overdue accounts and proactively improve collections

🔹 Business Partnering & Projects

  • Lead cross-border finance projects such as system integration and process enhancements

  • Support budgeting and forecasting when needed

  • Monitor financial internal control metrics regularly

  • Provide guidance on non-standard financial transactions and coach team members on process handling

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in finance or accounting roles 

  • Background in Controlling or internal finance operations is a plus

  • Strong capabilities in financial systems, Excel, and presentation tools

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying and solving issues

  • Able to work independently and manage responsibilities across multiple stakeholders
