Sr. AE, Optimization and AI

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical engagement throughout the sales lifecycle, including discovery, defining success criteria, demonstrations, evaluations, and deployment.

• Collaborate with customers to understand engineering challenges and design workflows, delivering simulation-based solutions that demonstrate clear value.

• Build and implement customized solutions utilizing advanced design optimization, AI/ML, and automation tools.

• Support integration of solutions into customer workflows and ensure successful technology adoption.

• Liaise with product development teams to provide customer feedback, validate new features, and develop best practices.

• Deliver technical training sessions, create enablement content, and support marketing events such as webinars and conferences.

• Participate in mentoring and knowledge-sharing activities within the technical team.

• Contribute to consulting and implementation services to support customer projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum experience: BS+5 years, MS+3 years, or PhD+0 in engineering software or simulation roles.

• Proficiency with commercial simulation, CAE, CAD, or EDA/PLM tools.

• Strong skills in scripting (e.g., Python, C/C++, Java, or C#) and automation.

• Experience with optimization and Design of Experiments (DoE) methods.

• Hands-on knowledge of process integration and design optimization platforms (e.g., optiSLang, ModelCenter, or similar).

• Familiarity with AI/ML in engineering contexts, including surrogate modeling and reduced-order modeling.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; capable of delivering presentations and technical discussions effectively.

• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional experience in engineering simulation or software support roles.

• Experience in customer-facing roles, technical consulting, or application engineering.

• Background in simulation-driven design, AI/ML integration, or workflow automation.

• Ability to architect multi-disciplinary solutions that align with business requirements.

• Familiarity with digital twin development, MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering), and advanced system modeling platforms.

• Experience with structural, fluid, or electronics simulation preferred.

• Understanding of cloud-based simulation workflows (AWS, Azure, GCP) and HPC integration.

• Knowledge of CAD tools is a plus.
