Sr. DevOps Engineer (A Taiwan branch of a U.S.-based unicorn software company)

We are seeking Senior Engineers with 3+ years of experience who are SMART, EASY-GOING, patient, and exhibit excellent TEAMWORK skills.

The backend system of our product is hosted on multiple cloud platforms, serving over 500K active users and 2M+ online endpoints, with an average API throughput of around 2K+ QPS.

Responsibilities:

You will be working on one or more of the following areas:

• Creating and maintaining new or existing production systems.
• Learning and improving CI/CD flows.
• Collaborating with R&D teams to enhance development life cycles.
• Surveying, proposing, and adopting new technologies or solutions to simplify processes.

Requirements:

• Expertise in AWS with medium to large scale infrastructure.
• Familiarity with open source solutions (e.g., CNCF related).
• Specialized knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
  • Kubernetes & container-related technologies (e.g., On-premises Kubernetes, EKS, Thanos, Rancher).
  • Security enhancements for Kubernetes environments and CI/CD flows (DevSecOps).
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform 1.0+, Helm 3.0+).
  • CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Argo, Jenkins, Atlantis).
  • Deep insights monitoring solutions (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Zabbix).
  • Log analysis and consolidation in Kubernetes (e.g., ELK, EFK, Fluentbit/Fluentd, APM solutions).
  • Load and performance testing (e.g., Grafana k6).

Preferred Experience:

• Container optimization and security improvement.
• Service mesh experience.
• Kubernetes multi-cluster management.
• Experience with GitLab/GitLab CI.
• Experience with GCP, Azure, OCI.
• Experience with GKE, AKE, OKE.
• IT experience.
