Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
5+ years of experience in system design, with at least 3+ years focused on embedded system bring-up and device driver programming.
Hands-on experience with embedded system design involving MCUs or SoCs (System on Chip).
Proficiency with inter-component communication protocols such as UART, GPIO, SPI, I2C, etc.
Experience with JTAG and other hardware debuggers.
Ability to read and work with electronic schematics and PCB layouts.
Practical experience in hardware debugging and hardware board bring-up.
Hands-on experience with soldering and the use of electronic lab equipment for debugging purposes.
Familiarity with software tools provided by processor vendors for board bring-up.
Experience with platform bring-up or porting operating systems such as RTOS provided by chip suppliers.
Knowledge of simple device driver development for debugging purposes, including:
- Power system control and sequencing
- Interface with display, touch, serial ports, cameras, and sensors.
Strong willingness to learn, with the ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
Willingness to travel occasionally, both locally and internationally (~10%).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with POS hardware and peripherals.
Basic knowledge of cryptography, including symmetric/asymmetric algorithms, key management, and key exchange.
Understanding of NFC and contact card technologies.
Familiarity with security standards for payments and transaction processing.
