Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of system-level design experience, with at least 3+ years focused on RF design and debugging.
- A strong willingness to learn, ability to work independently, and a proven track record as a team player.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
- Ability to visit test laboratories during debugging and certification processes.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, both locally and internationally (~10%).
Domain Knowledge Requirements
EE System Knowledge
- Hands-on experience in electronics system design with a solid understanding of interactions between different subsystems.
- Knowledge of embedded high-speed systems design, including integration of components such as:
- Application processors, security processors, and high-speed memory buses.
- MIPI LCDs with capacitive touch panels, MIPI cameras, USB-C interfaces, and their impact on RF performance.
- Expertise in power circuit management, including DC-DC converters, lithium batteries, PD chargers, and noise interactions across PCB boards, FPCs, and modules.
- Proficiency in EMC product debugging, troubleshooting, and obtaining approvals.
- Ability to provide guidance on PCB layout optimization to minimize EMI and RF desensitization.
RF Knowledge
- Hands-on experience working with RF signals (e.g., LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS) integrated with AP systems and analog-sensitive circuits.
- Strong understanding of RF signal testing, antenna component evaluation, and resolving de-sense issues at a system level to meet TIS compliance requirements.
- Practical experience with radio communication test setups, VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and other general lab equipment.
NFC Contactless Knowledge
- Solid understanding of NFC systems, including:
- NFC theory of operation, particularly active load modulation.
- NFC circuit design and antenna design considerations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with high-speed system simulation software and debug tools.
- Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, including:
- Noise Figure, Sensitivity, Error Vector Magnitude, Harmonics, Smith Charts, Tuning Networks, and Transmission Lines.
- Hands-on experience with EMVCo contactless Level 1 debugging and equipment testing is a plus.
