Sr. Vice President, Power BU (EV/Automotive

We’re looking for a seasoned Vice President/General Manager, EV Power Business Unit for one of the leading electronics manufacturing companies based in Taiwan. This senior leadership role requires a strong knowledge of Power Module technology for EV/Automotive applications. Current/Prior working experience with multinational semiconductor IDMs is a must.
 
Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and develop the Power Module Business Unit, supervising the functions of Product Research & Development (R&D), Product/Process Engineering (PE), Project Management, Sales & Product Marketing, Business Development, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
• Oversee the development and execution of the business unit’s strategies and plans. Lead the managers & key staffs in achieving organizational goals.
• Full responsibility of Profit & Loss.
• Drive the growth of revenues by identifying the new business opportunities, new market applications, and gaining larger shares from the current industry players in the Electrical Vehicle market and Tier 1 IDM companies 
• Strengthen the company’s JDM/ ODM engineering capabilities for Power Module products. Enhance the organization’s capability in manufacturing processes.  
• Set up, continuously review, and execute the business plans, strategies, and financial results of  Power Module Business Unit.
• Future factory/operation expansions to meet the growing business demands
• Lead, motivate, and develop the managers and employees within the BU (~300 persons now) to achieve the set business targets and KPIs.

 
Requirements:

• 20+ years of working experience in the Semiconductor IDM companies (such as Infineon, Danfos/ Semikron, DENSO, STMicroelectronics, Wolfspeed, On-Semi, ROHM, Fuji, Hitachi, etc.) for Power Module /EV/Automotive applications
• Track records of driving business growth, managing P&L, and achieving financial targets. Desired management scope: ideally 100+ staffs 
• China (EV/Automotive) experience required
• Previous working experience in R&D/Engineering function will be an advantage 
• Strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Great leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on results, innovation, and continuous improvement.
