We’re looking for a VP, General Manager of US Site for an electronic manufacturing company in Taiwan to lead and manage its office and manufacturing site in Wisconsin, US. Current/Prior working experience with laminates or PCBs is highly desired.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the company’s sales and manufacturing site (~200 employees) in Wisconsin, US to maximize its productivity, efficiency, and profitability. Report to the Founder of the company and take profit & loss responsibility.
- Implement the best practice of Manufacturing/Engineering Process, Quality System, and Cost review. Cultivate an environment of continuous improvement on Cost, Delivery, & Quality.
- Plan and implement operational, business, and product strategies, priorities, and action items to achieve the business targets.
- Develop and execute the US site’s annual budgets, capital plans and cost out plans. Implement efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.
- Client interfacing; Responsible for all aspects of the site’s business/P&L and operational performance while building up the capabilities of the organization. Trace and improve employee productivity, ensuring managers & employees thrive and organizational outcomes are met.
Requirements:
- 15+ combined years of working experience in the functions of Manufacturing, Sales, and/or General Management. Desired industry background: electronics manufacturing, PCB, CCL/laminates.
- 8+ years of people managerial experience, leading multi-functional, multi-cultural teams (ideally 100+ staff) internationally.
- Speaks adequate English socially along with ability to conduct business dealings in English with Westerners. Native Chinese speaker or at least can communicate adequately in Chinese speaking business environment.
- Proven track records of successfully improving the operational efficiencies, engineering quality, business growth, and/or cost savings.
- Experience of managing the operations in a US-based manufacturing site will be a big advantage.
- Ability to take international assignment – relocating to Wisconsin.
