Our client is a global leader in automotive retail solutions, dedicated to enhancing ownership experiences through innovative products and services. We are looking for an experienced Extended Warranty Business/Product Manager to drive end-to-end product lifecycle management and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize warranty offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement internal extended warranty programs for new and after-sales businesses, including product design, pricing models (e.g., 2+2, 2+3, optional 5~10 years), and operational processes for sales, promotion, and claims.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis; assess business cases with or without acquiring obligations from existing insurers; define appropriate financial provisions.
- Monitor regulatory updates, industry trends, and competitor products to guide product positioning and strategic decisions.
- Manage existing extended warranty operations, working closely with brand and financial service teams to ensure pricing accuracy, operational continuity, and effective campaign execution with dealers/suppliers.
- Support the creation of marketing materials and assist dealers in processing claims efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
- Analyze campaign results, track penetration rates, and generate regular performance reports.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and product portfolio expansion through data analysis and market insights; negotiate competitive terms with insurers.
- Manage vendor relationships, set operational standards, and review sales budgets and claims performance for ongoing optimization.
- Collaborate with the Global After-Sales team to ensure warranty audit processes align with business objectives and group policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Insurance, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in warranty/insurance product management or underwriting.
- Experience in automotive or insurance operations is a plus.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM or product tools (e.g., Salesforce) a plus.
- Strong team player with problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English (both verbal, written) and excellent presentation skills.
