The role
Under the general direction of the Global Marketing Director, the Business Analyst is responsible for guiding the business through the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. This position will require the creation of analyses and models to support key business decisions in global marketing strategies, driven by data analysis, business acumen, creativity, and effective communication. The Business Analyst is responsible for building and creating dashboards and databases that do not currently exist in the organization as well as creating Marketing plan framework and pricing models for global product line.

Responsibilities
•    Develop a comprehensive Marketing plan framework by geography that includes: key crops, acreage-attainable area, penetration and share (including competitive analysis), define customer needs within key crops, prioritize opportunities, integrate marketing plan framework into existing business plan.
•    Pricing Model: build a pricing model based on customer value created by the client’s solutions incorporating: value of solutions based on data analysis, determine value share approach (if needed), assure validity of pricing model for global/core products.
•    Conduct analyses and synthesis on marketing programs to drive pipeline generation and customer engagement including but not limited to market size, share & growth; market opportunity & potential growth areas; pricing, packaging, and investment.
•    Understand key business priorities, marketing goals, customer segments, decision drivers and hypothesis, to create performance metrics.
•    Partner with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Sales, Ops and Finance to build robust analyses that drive business decisions.
•    Explore and implement the set of tools, automation, and processes needed to scale with the local business.
•    Develop dashboards and run regular standardized reports to answer key business questions and connect the dots around performance of marketing campaigns and individual programs.
•    Design, build and automate key business metrics into self-serve dashboard to tell a story.
•    Own the process of driving core insights from available data and create strategies to measure the success of the project work across the organization.
•    Partner with cross-functional teams to do customer journey analysis, TAM analysis, or ICP analysis.
•    Present analysis and strategies to senior management in verbal and written form.
•    Responsible for marketing data accuracy and integrity; create dictionaries and data governance policies as needed.
•    Build monthly forecasting models for multiple channels and functions, and coordinate the process of gathering and analyzing inputs into the models.
•    Develop ad-hoc analysis and reports as necessary.
•    Automate manual processes and reporting using data/reporting tools.
•    Identify current and future risks to initiatives, develop mitigation strategies and work proactively with leadership to mitigate issues.
•    Provide analysis of current and new initiatives, critical evaluation of progress against business goals, quantify business impact, define recommendations for optimization or further evaluation or investment.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or related field required.
•    3 to 5 years of marketing and business intelligence analyst in Agriculture industry preferred.
•    3 + years working in Marketing role serving multiple geographic locations; preferably global scale.
•    Strong analytical and modeling skills with high proficiency in Excel, CRM and other relevant tools.
•    Microsoft Office suite required, Intermediate excel skills required, CRM experience required, SharePoint and Power BI highly preferred.
•    Experience designing and utilizing financial models; Financial Acumen including how to read P&L, credits/debits and accruals required.
