Our Client, a highly innovative company in the cosmetics industry.

Our Client is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to provide end-to-end analysis through creative models
and algorithms to drive business growth for our large e-commerce company. This key position will work with
executive leadership and critical stakeholders to execute research and provide analysis and insights to drive
revenue. The goal of the role is to use the most effective data modeling techniques to discover customer
purchasing trends, the marketing activations that drives them to action, the behavior our customers display
on our site, and the models that make it all work. The data tools you build and the algorithms you create will
help drive and define the way we bring beauty to our customers.


Responsibilities:
  • Discover and present patterns in customer behavior and share best-practices for optimizing those trends
  • Build models and tools using technical knowledge, statistical modeling, probability and decision theory and other quantitative techniques.
  • Understand the business objectives and utilize large data sets to develop meaningful analytic solutions.
  • Deliver models in production that optimize marketplace interactions, generate insights, and detect anomalies and outliers
  • Leverage predictive analytics and develop business cases to illustrate future behaviors, needs and trends
  • Leverage AI resources to help define use cases and customer behavior
  • Develop and implement creative approaches to collecting and analyzing large amounts of data through AI and other cutting-edge platforms
  • Capture and present actionable recommendations to aid key stakeholders in making informed decisions for sales, marketing and other go-to-market strategies


Profile:
  • Proven track record performing statistical analysis, prediction, and recommendation on diverse and large-scale e-commerce datasets
  • The ability to mine large amounts of data, derive actionable insights and translate those into business actions
  • Experience with tools like SQL
  • 5+ years’ experience in CS, AI, BI or similar
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
