Our client is building one of the most exciting projects in the beauty industry by creating an innovative business platform.

The Supply Operations Manager will be the key role in Supply Chain to work closely with our vendors on production schedules and demand planning team to ensure timeliness of orders. Will also be supporting the Director of Supply Chain in projects related to supply chain efficiencies, production management and process improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Strong Purchase Order Management and strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy for all reporting.
  • Responsible for indirect Purchase Orders to support Operations in indirect purchases.
  • Manage accurate purchase order log information and own all updates.
  • Possess strong vendor management skills to ensure production schedules are track
  • Understand and monitor production with vendors and align with the Supply Chain Manager on production ready dates.
  • Work closely with freight forwarders alongside the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Manage all NetSuite transactions for creating BOM and creating Assemblies working directly with the Operations team
  • Work closely with Accounting to ensure all receipts for BOM components for Assemblies transactions are accurate.
  • Generate, facilitate, and communicate critical order status to Demand Planning and escalate production delays to Demand Planning and Director of Supply Chain.
  • Will require strong supply planning skills to ensure consistent flow of deliveries and will escalate with solutions when a disruption in the Supply Chain occurs.
  • Capable of communicating accurate ship dates on sample orders for cross functional partners
  • Possess project management skills to ensure upstream activities will not delay shipments and be involved in the back of end of product launches.
  • Clear understanding of origin operations (COO, ports, consolidations, etc.).
  • Work closely with the Director of Supply Chain to create, implement, and facilitate any SOPs needed to improve department efficiencies.

Required Skills/Background:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from Accredited College (Equivalent amount of Education or Work Experience will be considered)
  • 4 years of Procurement Experience is Required
  • 2 years of Project Management Experience Preferred
  • CPG Experience Preferred
  • Cosmetic Experience Preferred
  • Net Suite Experience Preferred
  • Proficient Excel and Powerpoint Skills
