Morgan Philips Executive Search is thrilled to start an exclusive recruitment of a SVP Demand Planning for one it’s client based in California

This fantastic indie make-up brand is already on its way with game-changing collaborations and a global expansion for 2021.  Our client is building one of the most exciting projects in the beauty industry by creating an innovative business platform.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop the planning and inventory strategies
  • Lead and be accountable for Global Demand Planning functions including supply planning and S&OP
  • Guide the Global Demand Planning team to enable the company to exceed revenue targets
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing in setting seasonal and product launch strategy and buying guidelines
  • Develop strong partnerships with the cross functional team (Marketing, Product, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance) to ensure buy-in to product flow and inventory levels are required
  • Lead analytics, forecasting, reconciliation, and adjustments during buy roll-ups
  • Approve the final buy for each channel in partnership with Finance
  • Ensure an on-time/in-full delivery of global purchase order process for all channels
  • Drive exceptional customer service while driving speed to market and inventory turn objectives
  • Collaborate with external and internal partners to achieve customer delivery expectations
  • Lead continuous improvement and reduce forecasting error rates within Global Demand Planning
  • Responsible for development, implementation and execution of Global Planning solutions: AI, process, tools, organization
  • Key interface for Executive and Financial Planning, Global Sales and Marketing leads within wholesale, Pure Player and DTC



Profile:
  • 15+ years experience in Demand Planning, and/or Supply Chain Planning
  • BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain or relevant field of study
  • Relevant experience in Cosmetics, Beauty, Consumer Goods, wholesale, retail, eCommerce will be appreciated
  • Strong knowledge of high sku level company operations
  • NetSuite experience preferred
  • Preferred: Expert EXCEL and moderate knowledge of vendor systems
