Our client, a pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Commercial Training Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify training needs of areas of responsibility and ensure development of high-quality onboarding and on-going training interventions to meet these
  • Lead and manage induction training on the brand/customer for new Commercial hires (10%).  
  • Work in partnership with the X-functional Team to:
    • Ensure training programmes are aligned to key brand/customer strategy
    • Ensure campaigns are developed that maximise the whole company Stakeholder Interaction Model
  • Coordinates the involvement of internal and external training participants (e.g., speakers, role play participants, etc.).
  • Works with outside vendors and internal medical experts to design and construct training materials on therapeutic areas and specific products.
  • Ensure continual personal expertise in brand and disease knowledge, selling skills and customer insight, and coaching/training (10%)
  • Manages multiple projects and priorities.
  • Help create a culture where individuals take more responsibility for their own learning and development
Professional skills:
  • 5+ years of related experience in pharmaceuticals industry and a BS or BA degree, including 3+ years of successful Field Sales experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in training 
  • Strong commercial training skills and thorough knowledge and/or expertise in each area (e.g., commercial skills, core business skills, specialized skills, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills in order to lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict, and drive consensus amongst disparate groups of individuals.
  • Understands the different styles of learning to ensure all individuals are able to increase their own personal knowledge and skills
  • Strong familiarity and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for sales (and other) training.
