In this role, you will manage a variety of accounting activities, including overseeing group accounting functions and supporting consolidation processes. You will ensure the accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations and contribute to the preparation of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
Your responsibilities will also include supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, assisting with revenue recognition under ASC 606, and managing the integration of mergers and acquisitions. You will collaborate with external auditors for statutory and consolidated audits and provide backup for team members as needed.
In addition, you will play a key role in maintaining strong internal controls by working with process owners to ensure financial and operational processes are well-designed and executed. This includes documenting internal controls, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with local laws and the SOX. You will also partner with business leaders to advise on risk and control issues when implementing new systems or processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in public accounting, preferably Big 4
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, US GAAP, SOX, and/or IFRS.
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in English required;
