This role is a key leadership role in the execution of the generic business platform in Top 4 countries and UK. As Portfolio Director, you will drive generic product portfolio enhancement and expansion through the identification, evalutation, and advancement of new business opportunities that contribute to sustainable business grow. You will build a comprehensive market driven product portfolio view with business case rational supported with top level commercialization assumptions together with regions.
The responsibilities of this strategic role include the following:
- Gather and analyze the necessary market information, insights, or other data to support portfolio development & launches, and existing product portfolio optimization, through regularly assessing customer needs, competitive and industry insithgs, and trends.
- Monitor regional and country level market system changes and key processes for tendering and share best practices between regions.
- Ensure constant product flow identification for in-licensed product and business case preparations for decsion making.
- Develop business case for the selection and prioritzation of new product portfolio flow that is aligned with generic business goals and objectives. Ensure aligned view on term financials forecast of new product flow.
- Ensure timely commerialization of products in the portfolio with integrated actions with regional sales operations and plan market driven life sycle management activities for product portfolio.
You will report to the Director of Generic Business and closely partner with regional and local cross-functional teams. Specifically, with the regional heads and country managers. Business Development, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and key cross functional teams coordinating portfolio renewal activities and launch supplies.
Requirements:
- Bachelors' / Masters' degree in related discipline
- Several years of concrete professional work experience from the field of generic product sales and business development. Excellent understanding of European generic business. Familiarity with applicable regulatory and compliance guidelines governing the generic business.
- Knowledge of GP / hospital organisations, helathcare distribution channel, and healthcare environment.
- Ability to prepare and present reports and business cases at executive level briefings.
- Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
As Portfolio Director, you will have the ability to manage, prioritize and efficiently execute activities and work collaboratively with teams in a dynamic environment to deliver to set deadlines. As you will be liaising with a multiple stakeholder, strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to influence, inspire and build alignment across the organization. Fluency in verbal and written English is also a prerequisite.
