Now, we’re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who wants to make a lasting impact — on Earth and far beyond.
Your Mission As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will define and monitor the entire embedded software development cycle. You will be responsible for defining software specifications from system specifications, designing software architecture, and coordinating with other engineering teams such as systems, hardware, firmware, and validation.
You will serve as the technical focal point for your project — working closely with the client and having real influence on key decisions:
- Define and monitor the entire embedded software development cycle.
- Define software specifications from system specifications.
- Design software architecture.
- Identify, prioritize, and assign software activities following Agile methodology.
- Coordinate with other engineering teams such as systems, hardware, firmware, validation.
- Lead the creation of technical documentation.
- Participate in software development milestones with the client.
- Participate in bidding proposals.
Who We’re Looking For
- A degree in software engineering, telecommunications engineering, industrial engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a similar technical discipline. An advanced degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience would be an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in real-time embedded software development.
- Knowledge of the V development cycle.
- Understanding of a complete system, including embedded software.
- Fluent in English; Spanish or French is a plus.
Skills:
- Experience in Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of the ECSS process.
- Leadership.
- Fluent in Spanish or French.
