Finance Director

The Head of Finance will lead the company’s financial function, overseeing Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, and Tax. This individual will play a key role in building robust financial processes, delivering accurate and timely reporting, and supporting business decision-making. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong business acumen, attention to detail, and a process-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Finance team, including Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, and Tax.
• Establish and improve financial processes, internal controls, and reporting standards.
• Drive financial planning, forecasting, and analysis; provide insights to support strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with local tax and accounting regulations.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors.
• Build and manage relationships with banks, insurance providers, auditors, consultants, and clients.
• Provide financial guidance to other departments and promote cross-functional collaboration.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation strategies.
• Own key deliverables and deadlines; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Stay closely involved in day-to-day activities while delegating effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in finance roles, ideally in the energy or infrastructure sector.
• Demonstrated leadership and team development skills.
• Process-oriented with strong problem-solving and ownership mentality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; collaborative, approachable, and team-focused.
• High integrity, strong communication skills, and ability to present to senior stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
