Main responsabilities:
- Execute M&A Transactions: Actively participate in all phases of M&A transactions, from identifying opportunities to closing deals. Manage the due diligence process, document preparation, and negotiation of terms.
- Advanced Financial Analysis and Modeling: Develop complex financial models to evaluate transactions, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, company valuations, comparable multiples, and scenario analysis.
- Preparation of Presentation Materials: Create pitchbooks, due diligence reports, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), and client presentations that summarize the strategic and financial value of M&A opportunities.
- Market and Industry Research: Conduct detailed market and industry research to identify key trends, synergies, and potential risks for transactions.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain close relationships with clients, advising them on strategic M&A opportunities and guiding them through the negotiation and deal-closing process.
- Business Development: Collaborate with directors in identifying new business opportunities, including evaluating potential clients and preparing proposals for new and existing clients.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent master’s degree will be considered a plus.
- Experience: 5 years of specific experience in M&A within investment banking, private equity, strategic consulting, or related fields. Experience with cross-border transactions is an advantage.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, etc.).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to evaluate complex transaction structures and present clear, strategic solutions to clients.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to draft and present reports clearly, concisely, and persuasively. Exceptional skills in negotiation and relationship-building.
- Teamwork and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment, collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
