Our client is a cutting-edge, non-profit international organization located in Texcoco, Mexico.

Main tasks:
-Execute and implement the entire contract lifecycle, including development, drafting, review, negotiation, amendment, release, quality control, and archiving for national and international agreements.
-Manage case management activities, including case entry, closing, follow-up, and documentation. 
-Conduct research on treaties, laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Supported the global compliance program by ensuring alignment with policies, codes of conduct, and training programs.
-Ensure up-to-date knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in Mexico and other jurisdictions
-Provide legal support on privacy, data protection, research ethics, health and safety, phytosanitary standards, and environmental regulations.
-Provide counsel on due diligence, labor and regulatory requirements, and drafted various legal documents including opinions, notes, letters, and memoranda.
-Develop and deliver training programs on regulatory requirements and compliance, promoting a culture of compliance and ethical behavior.

Requirements:
The selected candidate must have a Degree in Law and a master’s degree/LL.M.
At least 8 years of proven experience in in-house regulatory and compliance functions.
Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of matters at any given time, work well under pressure, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments, and effectively manage deadlines.
Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills, including the ability to communicate legal concepts clearly to lay (non-legal) stakeholders.
Detailed accuracy, acute sensitivity to the importance of time urgency, exceptional anticipation skills, and an enviable personal touch. Demonstrate consistent follow-up to ensure task completion. Consistently operate with urgency while not losing sight of the detail.
High ethical standards with a strong commitment to maintain confidentiality and treat sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency in English and Spanish. English will be tested, and candidates should score a minimum of C1 on CEFR.
