Retail Marketing Manager 📍 Mexico City

💬 What challenges will you face?⚡️
Develop and implement a new brand strategy locally, being responsible for managing standalone stores and corner shops in luxury retailers, as well as negotiating and managing contracts with shopping malls to ensure strategic location, brand guidelines, core values, and DNA.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy:

  • Adapt and execute the global brand strategy to fit the local cultural and consumer context.
  • Develop 360° marketing campaigns and strategies aligned with brand growth and positioning objectives, prioritizing market-specific products, media events, digital strategy, in-store activations, and awareness initiatives.
  • Secure commercial agreements by identifying and securing strategic locations that strengthen brand presence with a cohesive visual and communication identity across all stores and corner shops, ensuring the consistent transmission of brand essence and values.

Retail Management:

  • Coordinate the opening, design, and operational management of standalone stores and corner shops with luxury retailers.
  • Oversee the implementation of retail design, visual merchandising, and in-store activations to deliver a unique brand-aligned experience.
  • Work closely with Retail ST, Training, and HRBP to develop the annual training plan, talent development cycles, store productivity, customer acquisition strategies, traffic-driving initiatives, and sales conversion improvement.
  • Negotiate store opening conditions with shopping malls, ensuring prime locations and optimal contract terms.
  • Analyze local market needs and preferences to adjust the product and service offerings in stores.

Brand Development & Customer Loyalty:

  • Lead loyalty and retention initiatives to build a community of repeat customers devoted to the brand.
  • Collaborate on the creation of exclusive in-store experiences and events to strengthen emotional connections with customers.

Market Analysis & Reporting:

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Set short- and mid-term VMS and Net Revenues objectives for the brand, while also analyzing pricing strategies and profitability to ensure performance across all product lines.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and in-store experiences to optimize strategies and improve results.
  • Prepare performance reports and KPIs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Commercial, Demand Planning & Supply teams, as well as Retail (Store Design, Training, and Sell-Through) to validate and align offerings with local market needs.

⚠️ Remember:
💰 Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar Brand Management roles, ideally in the retail or luxury (wellness) sector and strong negotiation skills with shopping malls for standalone store contracts.
👨🏻‍💻 Experience in managing physical stores and knowledge of visual merchandising strategies.
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or related fields.
📚 Advanced English both oral and written.
