Position Overview:
As the Aluminium Extrusion Technical & Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our aluminium extrusion processes. You will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the aluminium extrusion operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production targets.
• Oversee the technical aspects of the extrusion process, including die design, process optimization, and quality control.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of operations and technical requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards.
• Provide technical support and training to the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and processes in aluminium extrusion.
• Abel brings expertise in Lean Management, providing methodology advice and driving operational excellence for the factory.
• Expertise in extrusion processes.
• Strong knowledge of efficiency and methodologies.
• Experience managing a plant producing 30,000 tons per year.
• Experience fixing and optimizing a second extrusion plant.
• Involved in the process of implementing a new top-tier extrusion line.
• Looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of the extrusion business, including the job, the machinery, and overall operations.
• Must bring value to the team through expertise and experience.
• Experience in the installation of new production lines is essential.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, or related field); a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in aluminium extrusion.
• Strong technical knowledge of extrusion processes, machinery, and quality standards.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
