The main responsibilities of the freelance recruiter will be the following
- Create and manage job descriptions, post job openings on job boards, and use various sourcing methods (e.g., job boards, social media, networking, referrals) to find qualified candidates
- Review resumes, conduct phone screenings, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates to ensure a positive experience and encourage engagement throughout the recruitment process.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, job requirements, and team culture to ensure alignment in the recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate activity and recruitment data in the ATS
- Promote the company as an employer of choice by highlighting company culture, benefits, and career development opportunities.
- Proven experience as a Recruiter or in a similar HR role
- Proficiency in English and French is important for this role
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, techniques, and best practices
