For our client, a global life sciences firm known for its innovative and life-saving solutions, we are looking for a Key Account Manager (F/M) who will be responsible to manage and develop the BeNeLux market.  

Key Account Manager - Life Sciences (F/M)
  • You will be responsible for all aspects of the local sale including but not limited to; prospecting, demonstrations, negotiations, through the installation and post-sale support process ;
  • You will serve as a responsible representative of the company and operate with integrity and honesty in all business contacts ;
  • You will achieve sales plan for assigned territory ;
  • You will maintains accurate and timely data in the CRM ;
  • You will be responsible for providing regular and accurate forecast information for the territory in the CRM ;
  • You will participate in or support local, regional and national shows as requested ;
  • You will conducts demonstrations, coordinate installations and customer training ;
  • You will build relationships with procurement departments to streamline the approval processes ;
  • You will develop key internal relationships with Marketing to ensure collaboration and alignment for effective selling strategies ;
  • You will respond to problems or complaints that arise in accounts, either by personal action or by securing the assistance and support from others in the organization; work as a liaison for reporting customer complaints to the company’s Technical Services.
  • You have minimum 4 years of direct sales experience/account management in capital equipment in the Life Science industry ;
  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or any other related field ;
  • You have broad industry knowledge with biotech accounts ;
  • Bioprocessing knowledge is required ;
  • Experience in cell line development will be considered a plus ;
  • You have well-developed PC/MAC skills including: MS Windows, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, as well as experience with a CRM ;
  • You possess a valid driver’s license and are able to travel regularly ;
  • You are able to manage and develop sales territories while managing costs and risks ;
  • You are fluent in French, Dutch and English.
