Position: Key Account Manager (Transportation / Rail Market) - Key Account Manager (Transportation / Rail Market) 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Account Planning: Develop and execute an annual account plan encompassing key account vision, mission, objectives, SWOT analysis, account strategies, organizational structure, ecosystem, and alignment with company's strategy. This plan should aim to meet both the annual business targets and long-term account development goals.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key clients, ensuring alignment with their needs and goals.
  3. Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with clients and establish performance timelines to ensure clear expectations and outcomes.
  4. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams to ensure product quality meets client expectations and address any issues or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  5. Client Deliverables & Communication: Ensure all client requirements and deliverables are met within agreed timelines, facilitating effective communication between clients and internal teams.
  6. Data Analysis & CRM: Analyze client data to manage relationships and provide insights for enhanced customer service.
  7. Business Development: Expand relationships within and beyond the existing client organizations, identifying opportunities for growth and bringing in new clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  2. Experience: 4-5 years of experience in sales, management, key account management, or a similar role.
  3. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Must excel in listening, presenting, and interpersonal interactions.
  4. Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy, with experience in CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  5. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities with a proven track record of successfully finalizing client contracts.
  6. Multitasking & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and efficiently manage time.
  7. Willingness to Travel: Willingness to travel extensively to support global client coverage.
  8. Team-Oriented: Goal-driven, organized, and a team player with strong communication skills.
  9. Self-Motivation: Self-driven and passionate about the client industry, with the ability to work independently.
  10. Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills, with an ability to maintain close, productive client relationships.
