Morgan Philips has been exclusively retained to recruit a Regional Director - Benelux for a global leader in the manufacturing of specialty tires, known for its commitment to innovation and sustainability.
They provide high-quality tire solutions across sectors such as material handling, off-highway, and agriculture, helping businesses excel in challenging environments.
ROLE
As Regional Director Benelux, you will have full accountability for the region's P&L, with a focus on delivering continuous and sustainable growth. You will lead the business, developing strategic initiatives and implementing operational frameworks to ensure the company's commercial growth objectives are met in line with the broader regional strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Leadership: Full ownership of the region’s business performance, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and delivering on revenue and profitability targets. You will identify risks and opportunities to ensure sustainable financial growth.
- Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute a commercial plan to meet ambitious sales goals and broaden the client’s customer base in the Benelux region across all product categories and channels. Lead a multi-channel business aligned with the regional strategy, targeting substantial revenue growth by 2028. You will work with tire dealers, machinery dealers, regional distributors, and OEMs across sectors such as material handling and off-highway.
- Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities, particularly in emerging sectors such as Agriculture and Original Equipment, and steer market entry strategies in these areas. This includes building strong partnerships with key stakeholders such as distributors, customers, and business partners. You will work closely with the Regional Sales Director to align the Benelux strategy with the overall company objectives.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure operational efficiency by implementing best practices across the supply chain, sales, and customer service processes. You will also lead initiatives aimed at improving stock management, optimizing working capital, and enhancing service delivery.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, coach, and develop the team. You will foster a performance-driven culture, ensuring that all employees have clear objectives, opportunities for growth, and the support they need to succeed.
- Digital Transformation: Spearhead the digital transformation of the business by implementing advanced systems such as Salesforce and other digital platforms. This will streamline sales processes, improve customer engagement, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations adhere to local regulations and corporate compliance standards. You will also develop and maintain a safety-first culture, ensuring that all teams are aligned with the company’s health and safety guidelines.
PROFILE
- Proven Leadership: You have substantial experience in a broad commercial leadership role.
- Industry Knowledge: Leverage your industry experience to effectively drive business growth. Experience in the tire industry or related sectors such as MRO & service, aftermarket, or off-highway/agricultural machinery will be highly relevant to the role.
- Experience managing P&L, driving revenue growth, and developing commercial strategies is essential.
- Operational Expertise: You have a track record of improving operational performance, managing supply chains, and implementing business processes that enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Strong Leadership Skills: You are a natural leader with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage a diverse team. You know how to build a collaborative culture while driving results.
- Strategic Mindset: You are comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels, with the ability to think long-term while achieving short-term business objectives.
- Languages: Fluency in Dutch and/or French and English is required.
- Location: The role is based within the Benelux region, and you should be willing to travel regularly within the territory.
