Sr. OS SW Engineer (Hybrid)

• Develop the OS Platform to support new devices and features.
• Architect the operating system, introducing appropriate modularity and abstractions.
• Build tools and frameworks necessary for platform portability.
• Write software that can be easily adapted to new or existing platforms.
• Excel in C++ development, delivering high-performance and ultra-reliable software.
• Collaborate both independently and in small teams to deliver exciting new features on time.
• Debug software issues with a focus on optimizing performance and improving product quality.
• Show the ability to delve deep and find solutions to complex problems affecting users.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience developing Linux-based consumer electronic products.
• Excellent C/C++ programming skills.
• Strong skills in API design and developing portable code.
• A proven track record of success with embedded Linux development projects.
• A passion for building robust system and portability abstractions.
• Experience with Wi-Fi, audio/video streaming, and secure video playback.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of consumer products, web user interfaces, and networking functionality.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science
